Working at the Dubnow Institute since 2015, since 2023 as Scientific Officer of the Directorate.
From 2015 to 2023 he was a PhD Candidate at the Dubnow Institute in the Research Unit »Law«, from 2017 to 2021 funded by the German National Academic Foundation. Furthermore, he was Assistant for Special Duties in 2022. From 2022 to 2024, he was a research associate in the project »European Traditions – Encyclopedia of Jewish Cultures«, which was funded by the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
Studied History, Political Science and Sociology at the university of Frankfurt, and completed his MA degree in 2014. Subject of the Master's thesis: »Jüdisches Kulturleben in Frankfurt am Main in den 1930er Jahren«. 2023 PhD at the Leipzig University. Subject of PhD thesis: »Évian 1938. Jüdische Perspektiven auf die internationale Flüchtlingspolitik«. From April 2011 to December 2014 he worked as student assistant and then until September 2015 as academic assistant at the Fritz Bauer Institute in Frankfurt. In 2015 his Master's thesis was honored with the »historiae-faveo-price« by the alumni and friends association of historical science at the Goethe University Frankfurt. Research stay as part of the Loewenstein-Wiener Fellowship at The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives in Cincinnati, Ohio from November to December 2018.
