Use

The special collection of the institute’s library is open to students and guests. The books may only be used in the library and are not loanable. The entire collection of the library can be viewed via the online catalogue.

The library has nine working stations, including an accessible working station for guests with sight or mobility impairments, two research stations, one reading station with a microfilm scanner, and Wi-Fi.

Opening Hours and Terms of Use

The library can be used in accordance with the hygiene regulations after prior registration and confirmation by the library. When registering at anmeldung-bibliothek(at)dubnow.de, please indicate your surname, first name, telephone number and the requested time slot (Monday till Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon respectively from 1.30 to 4 p.m.).

A minimum distance of 1.5 to 2m to other persons must be maintained. In addition, please wear a medical mouth-nose protection or FFP2/KN95 mask without exhalation valve in the library or when talking to the library staff without a minimum distance. There is a strong recommendation to wear the above-mentioned mask at the reading desks as well.

The library is equipped with QR code of CoronaWarnApp for digital contact detection. The library rooms will get fresh air regularly and the workstations are disinfected. Used books are returned to the green return trolleys and are to be put back to the shelves by the staff only.
