Visiting Research Fellowship Program
The Dubnow Institute regularly hosts PhD candidates, postdocs, and senior scholars as guests from international and German academic institutions. Here they have the opportunity for an intensive exchange with the members of the institute, to publicly present their research, and to contribute to the courses taught at Leipzig University. The annual open call for the fellowship program serves to integrate German research into the international field of Jewish history and culture and encourages an interdisciplinary dialogue beyond national borders and across academic cultures.
The core of the fellowship program is directed at the Junior Scholars. Doctoral candidates as well as recent PhDs in the early postdoctoral phase of their careers are here given an opportunity to further develop their projects in collaboration with our staff over the course of a one-month stay at the institute. The program also serves the generation of future mutual projects and the expansion of existing networks and collaborations.
