Jewish Material Culture

The Dubnow Institute is establishing an interdisciplinary research area on material Jewish cultural heritage. In initial third-party-funded, collaborative projects and publications, the DI is already researching fundamental processes such as the dispersal, translocation and collection of Jewish cultural assets as well as conflicts over cultural property on an international level.
