»Treasures for the Morgan«: Zu Sammlung und Sammler Dannie Heineman

Dannie Heineman (1872–1961) was a German-American industrialist and philanthropist of Jewish origin who, in the early 20th century, put together perhaps one of the most influential collections of rare books, manuscripts and music in the Western world. The Lunchtalk with Dennis Schäfer on Thursday, 10 July 2025, 11.15 a.m. at the Dubnow Institute is dedicated to Dannie Heinemann's collection policy before and after 1945

Dennis Schäfer is a PhD student in the Department of German at Princeton University. In so-called lunch talks fellows and guests at the institute offer the opportunity to present their ongoing projects and to discuss their current findings.
