Freud auf Hebräisch

»Freud in Hebrew« tells the story of psychoanalysis in Jewish Palestine/Israel. In this study the psychoanalyst and historian Eran Rolnik explores the encounter between psychoanalysis, Judaism, Modern Hebrew culture and the Zionist revolution. Based on hitherto unpublished sources, including many letters by Freud himself, this book integrates intellectual and social history in order to offer a persuasive account of how psychoanalysis permeated popular and intellectual discourse in the emerging Jewish state.
