Volume 14 (2015)
Jahrbuch des Simon-Dubnow-Instituts/Simon Dubnow Institute Yearbook
The »Simon Dubnow Institute Yearbook«2015 includes two focal points: In the aftermath of the hundredth anniversary of the outbreak of World War One, the first thematic focus is on the life and work of the universal historian, sociologist, and philosopher of language Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy (1888–1973), for whom the »Great War« was a key epistemological event. The second thematic focus addresses documentary and fictional representations of history after the Holocaust. The general section and specialized categories include articles on the history of memory, scholarly history, and legal history in Palestine/Israel as well as the history of Russian-Jewish literature and publishing in the nineteenth century.
