Volume 18 (2019)
Jahrbuch des Dubnow-Instituts /Dubnow Institute Yearbook
The 2019 Yearbook includes two focal points: The first is dedicated to Jews in postwar Europe, honing in on the actors themselves and addressing the challenges that Holocaust survivors faced in rebuilding their lives. The second focal point explores the entanglement of prospective and actualized liberty against the background of the Cold War, its local reverberations in Latin American dictatorships, and the conceptual pair »Lucha y Libertad« (struggle and freedom) that characterized the events of this period. The general section and specialized sections include among others contributions on political and legal history as well as on questions of literature, language, and source materials.
