Celebratory event surrounding the 24th Simon Dubnow Lecture by Sabine Koller
On Thursday, 6 November 2025, at 5 p.m., Sabine Koller will give the 24th Simon Dubnow Lecture at the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum Leipzig. Under the title »Im Schweigen der Ruinen der Gesang der Buchstaben,«she will speak about the development and destruction of Yiddish culture and literature in Eastern Europe in the first half of the 20th century, as well as the spaces in which it resonated. With this festive event, the Dubnow Institute is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Registration for the event is required by Sunday, 2 November 2025.
