Communicating Jewish Everyday Culture
Workshop on the toolkit for the thematic issues

Between 2022 and 2025, the Dubnow Institute produced three »Thematic Issues«, funded by the BMFTR, designed to teach aspects of everyday Jewish culture. Initially conceived primarily for use in school lessons, these award-winning thematic iussues were also adapted, in collaboration with the Ariowitsch-Haus, into method-based modules for political adult education. A half-day workshop on 28 August 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., will serve to present the accompanying teaching resource pack and is designed to enable participants to use it in their own teaching contexts. Marina Chernivsky (KOAS/OFEK) will be the guest speaker, discussing current perspectives on educational work addressing anti-Semitism.
The event will take place at the Ariowitsch-Haus and is aimed at educators, multipliers and anyone else interested. Registration is now open via email to: bildung(at)ariowitschhaus.de
