Working at the Dubnow Institute as a PhD Candidate since April 2019, since October 2020 funded by the Leo Baeck Fellowship Programme/Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. 

Studied History and German Philology at the University of Göttingen as well as Medieval and Modern History at Leipzig University and completed his MA degree in 2019. Subject of the Master’s thesis: »Der Rechtsgelehrte Walter Jellinek (1885–1955) und sein Wirken nach 1945«. From Mai 2016 to March 2019, he worked as academic assistant at the Dubnow Institute.
