Working at the Academy Project»European Traditions–Encyclopedia of Jewish Cultures« as a Research Associate since April 2022. She is an affiliated Researcher at the Dubnow Institute, Research Unit »Knowledge«.

Studied Judaic and Jewish Studies, and Political Sciences at the universities of Leipzig and Halle-Wittenberg and completed her Magistra degree in 2009. Doctoral Candidate at the Graduate School »Religious Non-Conformism and Cultural Dynamics« between 2009 and 2014 at Leipzig University; subject of PhD thesis: »Tshuve-shtimungen afile in radikale krayzn? Abba Gordin (1887­­­­–1964) und die Prozesse der Gemeinschaftsbildung in einer Jiddisch-anarchistischen Subkultur, dargestellt anhand der Debatte um religiöse Yidishkayt in der Wochenschrift Fraye Arbeter Shtime 1937–1945.« 2014–2021 Research Associate at the Institute for Jewish Philosophy and Religion, and Academic Coordinator at the Maimonides Centre for Advanced Studies–Jewish Scepticism, University of Hamburg. 2021–2022 lecturer at the Seminary for Judaic and Jewish Studies, Halle-Wittenberg University.
