Anne-Kathrin Gitter has been Personal Assistant to the Director at the Dubnow Institute since March 2021. Since September 2021 she ist Deputy of the Equal Employment Opportunity Representative and Teaching Coordinator.
Studied German and Italian at the Leipzig University and Bari/Italy; graduated with the First State Examination in 2011. From 2012 to 2021, Doctoral Candidate at the Chair of Modern German Literature and Literary Theory at the Leipzig University. Dissertation topic »Der christliche Metacode im Spätrealismus. Die produktive Rezeption von Dante Alighieris Divina Commedia bei Conrad Ferdinand Meyer, Wilhelm Raabe und Ferdinand von Saar.« Scholarship holder of the Free State of Saxony, the Klassik Stiftung Weimar and from March 2017 to February 2018 coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Research Seminar »CiCi«, lecturer and research assistant at the Institute for Romance Studies at the Leipzig University. Thereafter event management at the Dubnow Institute and from September 2019 to July 2021 Research Assistant at the Institute for German Studies at the Leipzig University.
