Simon Dubnow Institute
for Jewish History and Culture at Leipzig University

With the »Digital Catalogues« series, the Dubnow Institute is opening up an alternative to the conventional anthology. Various central topics are presented vividly in short essays with a concise scientific apparatus and a rich selection of photos, illustrations, and archive documents. The open access publications have been optimized for digital use and offer, among other things, enlargeable images and further secondary literature. The catalogues are published free of charge by Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht Verlage as PDF and EPUB editions under a Creative Commons licence. They are also available as books on request.
