toldot - Essays on Jewish History and Culture
The series Toldot (Hebrew for history) of the Simon Dubnow Institute is edited by Dan Diner and published by Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht in Göttingen. The series centers thematically on Jewish history in the context of universal history, as the experiences of a non-territorial population group in the epoch of the nation-state and nationalism. Longer articles in the series will explore in particular the intellectual history of the nineteenth and early twentieth century.
