Working at the Academy Project »European Traditions – Encyclopedia of Jewish Cultures« (Academy Project at the Simon Dubnow Institute) as a Research Associate since 2007. Studied Medieval and Modern History, and German Philology at The Universität Leipzig and completed his M. A. degree there in 2003. Subject of the Master's thesis: »The European Congress of Nationalities 1925–1938. Questions Regarding the Cooperation of Jewish and German Minority Representatives«. Doctoral Candidate at the Simon Dubnow Institute between  2003 and 2007. PhD at The Universität Leipzig with a study on Jewish diplomacy of the Interwar years. In 2006/07 Ernst C. Stiefel Global Fellow at New York Law School.
